ALL ABOUT LANDON STEPHEN POPADIC

I am an American film, theatre, and television director, producer, and actor.

I got my start in musical theatre performing at The King's Academy in West Palm Beach Florida. The King's Academy is one of the top 5 high schools in the world for musical theatre. I later appeared on Broadway as an ensemble member in Ragtime & TITANIC the Musical Original Cast Revival at Lincoln Center. I studied musical theatre at Palm Beach Atlantic University, as well as acting for film at New York Film Academy.

My first professional film experience was producing the Sony Pictures film Believe in Bristol, VA. Later,  I apprenticed Tony Award nominated director David Snyder as his assistant director at The King's Academy for 2 years. I produced and directed a comedy tour - Date Night Comedy- that has toured across the US for several years, continuing with a distribution deal with PureFlix for a 5 episode season.

I later relocated to Los Angeles, producing for Damascus Road Productions working alongside Sony Pictures. On top of this I produced the feature film Ticket to Nashville set to release in 2023. Later, I was the production manager and director at The Met Theatre located in Hollywood, CA where I was nominated for a Broadway World Award for Best Director for my production of 13 the Musical. During the pandemic, I wrapped production on my award winning feature documentary as director and producer about a man struggling with cancer and Parkinson's for 17 years called Dead Man Running.

I’m a recent graduate of the UCLA Extension directing for film program, awarded with distinction. Since graduating, I’ve started a new production company with my business partner William Doepp called Bridgewater Pictures. Our first project through Bridgewater “The Exhibit” will be in the 2023 festival circuit.
